Once again, the Retail Fair was the ideal place to discover the most innovative companies in the sector, and find out about their projects, services and technology tools. All the players in the retail ecosystem came together at the Retail Fair, the true heart of the Spanish Congress of Shopping Centres and Retails Parks, and the place to strengthen links with traditional partners as well as discover new business opportunities.
More than 30 companies participated as exhibitors, including leading Spanish real estate investment trusts (SOCIMIs), such as Castellana Properties, Merlin Properties and HLRE SOCIMI, which presented its new name. Bogaris showcased its main projects, while Optima Global Services, SCCE, Sonae Sierra, Gentalia and Nhood took the opportunity to demonstrate their firm commitment to active management for both their own portfolios and those of third parties.
Elecox, Tolder, Collbaix, Soprema and Acieroid were present to showcase the services and products they offer shopping centres. Broadway Malyan exhibited its main architectural projects.
Sustainability was the focus of exhibitors such as Powerdot, a specialist in electric vehicle charging points, Greenvolt and Acciona Energía. MyTraffic, Sensormatic and Cad&Lan showed how retail is becoming digitalised. Tecnotron showcased its most original machines, such as the one that prints personalised mobile phone cases. Scheidt & Bachmann and SKIDATA showcased their services for controlling access to car parks.
In addition, CBRE and Savills opened customer service areas, along with a terrace that was the perfect place for relaxed networking. One of the gatherings was a fun after-work event, with international food and live music.
All this took place in a fully accessible environment. Indeed, for the fourth consecutive year, the event has been awarded the accessibility certification, guaranteeing that all spaces, content and activities are designed to be inclusive.
